 a word from the
Lucky 7 Casino General Manager -Terry Westrick

Terry Westrick, General Manager of the Lucky 7 Casino started in the casino business in 1971.  Terry and his wife Mary live in Crescent City and have been in the area for 15 years.

Lucky 7 Casino is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and employs 125 people. On  July 18 the casino will celebrate it’s 13th anniversary.  There are 35,000 people registered in the Lucky 7 Casino Players Club.

One of the most exciting things happening in the future is the introduction of “special events”.  We will have an area that is large enough to do live events.

In the interest of ecology the Smith River Rancheria Tribal Council is committed to building a state of the art facility with the cleanest air in the region.  The entire building will be managed with a Geothermal heating and air conditioning system, utilizing the natural climate of the Earth to manage the climate of the facility.  (For more on Thermal Energy go to www.tolowa-nsn.gov search “thermal energy”.)

The gaming floor will double in size to allow us to add additional gaming machines.  Additional gaming tables will be added including poker.  Lucky 7 Casino was voted as the best place to have fun on the 101 Coast. We are also the first Casino in the state of California to introduce the slot machine “Jaws”.  This interactive and exciting game is on the Lucky 7 Casino floor today and ready for your playing enjoyment.
