Vice Chairperson Scott D. Sullivan is descended from June Sullivan (Dobrec), Victor Dobrec Jr., Mary Dobrec (Mattz), Agnes Mattz (Tom), and Captain Tom. Scott holds a B.A. in Government and International Relations, and an M.A. from the American University in Cairo.
Scott serves the Nation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs Pacific Region as a member of the Self-Governance Advisory Committee, which works with the Assistant Secretary of Indian Affairs to advance the goals of Self-Governance and Self-Determination among sovereign Indian Nations.
On Tribal Council, Scott focuses on tribal gaming issues, fee-to-trust acquisitions and the extension of tribal sovereignty and self-determination. In his free time, Scott continues to learn the Tolowa Language and hone his skills and abilities in the creation of regalia for ceremonies.
